Last weekend i started putting some of my Duster back together, doors, right front fender, trunk lid.
Doors and fender went together well got to the trunk lid got it lined up good gaps were straight latched good then i noticed that between the key lock and the center of the right taillight there was a 3/16 overlap of the trunk lid over the taillight panel! WTF?
Started measuring and somehow the taillight panel was pushed in,how or why i never seen this i have no idea.
I got it pulled back to where it should be but in the process i created another problem.
I had replaced the right taillight part of the panel and while pulling it out i cracked the body filler and after grinding off the filler found i had also cracked the weld about an inch and a half.
On Wed. i took my brother to pick up his new truck stopped at the red light a block from the dealer the brake pedal drops and the brake light comes on,i popped the steel brake line, behind the gas tank!
Since i didn't have time to fix my truck i been driving my 72 Duster, went out this morning and it had a flat tire! <IMG alt=">:-| " src="http://www.smileytown.com/application/content/angr0008.gif" border=0>
