Jon beat the Number 1 Qualifier in a nail biter first round
and steals his 2nd bye run by to advance to 3rd round in stock.

He also won in Superstock and advances to 2nd round.

I won in stock putting up an .02 light to advance to 2nd round.

I turned on the red in Superstock against former World Champion
and current Division 7 Champ = I really missed the light! I have new
front brakes coming Tuesday to replace the old race brakes that have been
giving me fits!
 
We are have a fantastic time, Talking and Praying with many
of our Christian Brothers!

Good for you! And glad to see you are acknowledging our Lord and Savior. He is with you every step of the way! Enjoy this time- it goes by fast….. quarter mile at a time fast.
 
Well Jon lost at 10 cars. I figured he was going to have to push the light some.

Well Jon had a Heads-Up with former world champion (and our Friend)
Don Keen in SS/KA third round. We took him a bit too
lightly as we have beaten him several times in a row (Never
more than a tenth). Both cars ran dangerously close to One Second
under which put you in danger of receiving more Horsepower on your
combination. At this Altitude the index is 11.44 and both cars were
in the 10.40s ( D. Altitude nearly 4000 ft.). True Margin at the finish line
was .011. Jon ran 126 to Don's 125 but the Mustang was 1.37 to our 139
60 Ft and Jon just ran out of track to catch him.
 
We will be hard at it next week with two
Divisional races over 5 Days.

I cannot wait to get my one working eye fixed
in May so I can be more competitive like the old days!

I am down to the last 4 cars in Stock to make up the finish
of the rained out Winternationals next week also!!
