I decided to do something different with my seats. I started with late 71 E body buckets and a 73 Duster rear seat. All frames were in phenomenal condition to start .

I've always liked houndstooth and the 70 style Duster bucket pattern ( tombstone). I thought, the car isn't original, so why not do something creative?

Here's what I have now.

Give positive, negative or any thoughts if you'd like.
Im digging it.

Ps, the pattern makes your eyes want to cross..lol

Thank you!!
I had a very similar thought process recently for the seat in my 73 D100. I had my interior guy add some bolstering for shape and comfort (the seat was too flat) and used the 1973 dart plaid for inserts.

That looks phenomenal!

Great look and great job!!

I like how they dip down in the middle rather than going straight across the top of the "houndstooth" It gives them a little extra pizzaz. The pattern is better than the example...a little different but cooler. They look great Mike. Put your cursor on the right bar and move it up and down real fast. Trust me your eyes will cross. LOL

Hahaha! I mentioned to the woman doing the sewing of it, when I stopped by to give some input, that I'd pay for her eye exam after she's done with my seats.
Thanks brother!

I'm putting day 2 stuff together on and in it. Putting an 8 track under the dash ( a functional stereo in the glove box) with a carry case of rock 8tracks.
My girlfriend dresses up in hippie garb when she takes her VW bus to shows..lol
I put my 69 Schwinn 5spd Lemon Peeler bike with her bus too.
