As some member know I have been spending time doing something I can put my interest in and found that shooting pool was a can do in my life.
Well last night I had to qualify and play and win a position to move forward in my dream. :cheers:
I can't wait for March 8) it give's me time to better my game and control :happy10:

Here I go on my first step to Cape Girardeau, MO. to see what it is like to play in a singles 8 ball tournament :happy10::happy10::happy10:

I know it's one step at a time and I just wanted to share that I am moving forward :happy10:

Cool! I used to play TONS in my youth. I had a friend in a legion pool team. They were short a player and invited me in . The other team wasnt happy because I ended up winning the tournament for the legion!

It's a game I truly miss,but no room in the house and no pool hall locally. Just the really bad tables at the local bar. I dont drink so it's kind of a bummer.
 
so do I understand correctly you are going to the regional tournament?

Yes, and if I do good and qualify I have a date for the big one in Los Vegas. :happy10:

Sounds like you made some good memories needsaresto, Here in town we don't sell alcohol, dry county, but at the other APA nights I do enjoy a couple beer's and new friends :happy10:

I guess I am glad we have some great folks around me in the APA league, spending time perfecting there game and watching others do the same, But we do have a couple folks that loose there cool and just walk out of the pool room.

Last night we had 8 ball league night and And I earned two patches, 1 brake and run and 8 on the brake. We "Treva and I" enjoy getting out for our 8 ball APA league night, and it was a good one :-D The APA sends out a magazine to us know and then and they said I was in it the top ten new Hot Shots in APA :happy10::happy10::happy10:, Dr cue has been helping my game, I watch him on U-Tube. It sure feels good to have people look up to me and tell me how well my game has gotten so much better :happy10:
 
Keep us posted and tell us when and where ya play. We're rootin for ya buddy. When ya make it big i will have had the pleasure of knowing a "Double Celebrity". "MeMike" on FABO and the "J Town Hussler". Hell, let's go for a triple. "The Early A Rambler". Go get em buddy.

Good luck and Conrats Mike... I used to be pretty good at pool or I was to drunk to realize that I sucked, it was one or the other.. :toothy10:

Thank you Bill :happy10::happy10: That really means allot to me brother :happy10:, I wear my For A bodies only black T-Shirt most every night of League play until we get our Make it! or Break it! T-Shirts made and They call me meMike because there is about 6 Mike in our division :-D I like the J-Town Hustler =P~, Treva and I are the only folks from Jonesboro so I think a hat is in order :cheers: Thank you.

I enjoy a shot of Tequila and a single frosted mug before I shoot :happy10: and if I have not had my shot my team members ask if I have had my shot of Tequila yet, if I don't they make sure I do :-D It's so cool and funny to have so much attention :happy10: Thank you brother :happy10:

Thank you John :happy10::happy10: and there is a bit of luck involved on how the balls roll, I have studied on the worst things a pool player does and started there to bring my game up. Youtube has been my friend for sure. I told my team captain last night that was was learning how to keep score and he said to me "You just keep doing what you are doing and we will leave the scoring to us memike" in a joking manner :toothy10:
Treva and I shoot with a Viking cue and I drive a Valiant, so I guess that makes me the V-MAN :-D

I know what ya mean J-miller =P~ We have a couple babes that play in our region and they dress for GAME =P~ Some hot babes to say the least, I am glad I don't have jugs in my way when I shoot :-D

We have some very nice humble folks on our team and they have made it easy for me to want to do my best and keep at it.
This is just one more 2010 resolution I made for myself and did more then talk about it, I am a happy camper for sure Moose :happy10:
