I have a 67 Dart K frame in my 67 dart. My idler arm is bad 2nd one. I was wanting to install a 74 K frame with the newer style idler arm. Would the rest of my steering work with this set up? Has anyone else done this?
Thanks for the help.

Use the center link, pitman arm and idler arm off the 73-76. Everything else should bolt right up. If you get the lower control arms with the tabs off the 73-76 a sway bar will bolt right in.

The only difference in the 67 and 68 idler arms is 67 has a ball studs at both ends 68 and up has a bolt through at the K frame end. So... buy a 68 thru 72 idler arm an weld one tiny little tab on the 67 K frame. Tab would have a hole in it for the through bolt. That bolt will hold the tab in place and show you where it gets welded. Hope this makes sense. A pic of a 68 up K would help clarify.

You can't just add the other half of the bracket to a 67 k-member as the 67 tab is in the middle of where the 68 bracket goes. Use the 74 k-member and use a 68 idler arm with your current parts.
