KB232 pistons different than kb107's?

I found a set of kb232's for a decent price. What is the difference. Says there kinda dished out on the summit site. But I'm pretty clueless when it comes to piston design.
 
nothing wrong with dish pistons unless you have large head chamber volume then you have really low compression Might be good combo for lean burn heads
 
The KB232 piston has a D shaped dish and are intended to be used with closed chamber heads. They will provide a quench area with the closed chamber and will have a lower compression than a flat top.

ALSO, they were intended to be used in magnum engines where the small end of the connecting rod is narrower than an LA rod. If you intend to use them with LA rods or aftermarket LA rods you will need to have the small end of the rod machined so it's 1" wide to fit into the piston.
 
They usually are more expensive than the KB107's because they are a newer design.
