60s MoPar (at least '64!) had a 4 sided igntion key and round trunk key. Are these really the same blanks so an original initions switch could be copied on a trunk key blank -- or is there some the different about them?

Also I forget since I haven't had a 64 Dart in 38 years (and it isn't even here yet)

Was the round key for doors also, or the angle sided key for that ?

The round key was trunk and glovebox only. The square key was doors and ignition. Since the grooves that run the length of the key were different, a trunk (round) key won't physically go into a door or ignition lock. If cut properly the later pentastar key blanks will work in the older locks since the main difference was the depth of the locks. The new keys have to start the cut as close as possible to the end of the blank...

Thank you for clearing that up. Don't recall glovebox having a lock (or maybe that was higher end, larger Dodge and Plymouth models).
