I have a LA 318 Thermostat Housing I am in the process of getting to seal. One Mopar Book I have states the Torque specs for the Bolts is 30 Foot Pounds. Another Mopar Service Manual I have lists the Bolts as 200 inch pounds which is around 16 foot pound. Not sure which Torque spec to use.

The correct torque value for the thermostat housing bolts is 30 foot pounds. This includes the early cast iron housing, the aluminum housing used through 1978, and the stamped steel housing used in 1979 and later.
