Guess I missed your post about your son's engine. Twist it too hard Mike?
Yea , It's called hydra-lock , ten feet from the finish line ! Head gasket on one cylinder leaked . Water does not compress !!

Mini bike is done and ready for the grand kids to ride till it falls apart again.

Took it on a nice long ride to make sure it stayed together and had to adjust the throttle way back it was just to fast and a 6 HP is way to big for it. Works good now but was hard to ride with my knees dragging the ground. lol

Maybe the kids won't get a chance to ride it now LOL

Well as predicted we got rain almost all late afternoon and through the night. It did ruin what may have been a great car show in Port Hope. Supposed to have been a ton of Mopars there so maybe next Sat.
I will be at one this afternoon though and yes I'll take pictures.
Have a great day guys

Where's Fred? The early bird gets the worm.
Late night on the phone with relatives and friends so no worms for me today. lol
My sons flying me to Washington State next month so trying to figure out how I will visit everyone.

Mini bike almost ready for the next batch of grand kids to destroy but I screwed up thought my engine off my pressure washer would be a 3 HP but I was wrong so set the throttle down to compensate and hope for the best. lolView attachment 1715770161 View attachment 1715770162
Is that a comet clutch. If so you can get different weights and springs for it. That way you can regulate speed but maintain engine power. Used that method on old snowmobile for my boys. Tryed limiting throttle but sled had no power and I was getting it unstuck a lot
Modified clutch’s to limit speed but engine still made power a lot less getting stuck

I didn't know that you could adjust them, the one I have is not a Comet but seems to work out just fine on flat ground and no hills around here so hopping it works out.
