Took my sister to the train station today and she's on her way back home. Had a nice visit and will miss her but not her little yappe dog I call fuze ball. She put a diaper on it so it wouldn't make a mess in my house. I like dogs but this one would bark if you didn't pick it up and with Hearing aids it hurts.

She's still pretty sharp, looks after her own home, and somewhat useless husband. She has been taking piano lessons for several years and has now also taken up guitar lessons. She is an accomplished artist and current President of the local Art Society. Until 3 years ago she would plant and grow a large garden in the backyard of her house, but that has become a bit too much, so she's downsized it to a much smaller space. My wife helps her getting it planted and keeping it weeded, but she still does most of it herself.
She spent several years working on a family tree project that she was determined to finish while she was still able.
Yeah, she's pretty amazing, still drives her 1989 Thunderbird Super Coupe 5 speed too, though she has been having some trouble with her hips and finds it difficult to operate the clutch at times.
My brother took her for a ride in his SS454 Chevelle last summer and she was grinning from ear to ear when she got out.
Good for her Randy and glad she is so active. Learning music etc keeps her mind active and stops Dementia and Alzheimer's. Have a great day

Glad you had a good time with your sister. It's great to have company but also good when you see the taillights leave the driveway.

Morning guys and another sunny day it is.
You've heard me talk about Hwy 401 going through Toronto. (I call it the Toronto Parking lot for a reason)
How'd you like to be in this mess every day going to and from work

Well gents Sunday afternoon again and again I find myself sitting in the lab tinkering / cooking supper. Venison roast with a garlic, onion, paprika, sugar rub and Hickory smoke. So far everything I’ve tried in the little Bradley smoker has turned out awesome. Make it a good one guys

What made you decide on the Bradley? My brother-in-law has a Masterbuilt and he likes it too.

I really don’t think it makes a difference. I have a furnace oil tank that I use to smoke my sausage because it holds 40 rings at a time. It’s wood fired. Don’t think its the smoker as much as it’s the smokee the person running the smoker. It’s all a learning curve. I keep a log book on every time I smoke temperatures recipes rubs, mistakes etc. Once you have the smoker figured out no prob. Just like anything else.

I bought this today it has all new brakes and everything. It even has new tires. For 1500 I figure it would be a better 1st car for the grand daughter than the 66. All it needs is a ragjoint.
