Morning guys. Looking out the window it looks like about 5" of snow so far.
Don't think we got any freezing rain thank goodness.
Some schools are closed and some are open but the school buses have been cancelled.
When I went to school we never had a snow day. I used to ride my bike in deep snow and I survived.
We have a bunch of pussies these days it seems.

Morning Mark, Can't put a like on that comment of all that snow. Need a red X for that.

Doing good here Bud, cold though -25*F this morning.
How's the shoulder doing?
Morning Fred, both shoulders are doing well thanks. Just got a call from physio saying my tech is sick so my appointment is cancelled.
I do have a bit of pain but I think that is from stretching all my muscles from my daily workout. Sure beats what it was like before any surgeries were done.
So at least I won't be driving over the snow packing it down before I can blow the driveway out.
Have a great day and thanks for asking

Good to hear that Mark, have a great day and try to stay out of trouble.

Well looking out he window we ended up about 4 inches here. I guess I should not jinx myself but I will. Thanks to the freezing rain mix our numbers are close to half of the places that didnt get the rain.

Corp spend day for us who have significant others tomorrow. Wife says "don't worry, you don't have to get me anything, Is that a set up or what?
I bought my wife flowers once. Only once. She was very unhappy about it, I didn't know that she doesn't like cut flowers because once cut, they are dead.
:BangHead:

For several years after that I would get her gift cards for the local greenhouses, I think I finally got forgiven after about 10 years. Now I just buy a few cards from me and the dogs.

That's what happens when you get flowers from the local cemetery

Hi guys.
Went out this morning ready blow the driveway out. Fired up the snowblower and moved to the front of the garage and engaged the auger and the engine stopped dead. The ice was just jambed around the auger so it wasn't going anywhere fast.
I went next door and borrowed their blower so the driveway was clear.
Took the blower back and cleaned and shut the door. Of course here comes a road grader and just buried the driveway. Had to be 2.5 feet at least.
Started thinking and got a hot kettle of water, brought the blower back out of the garage and poured the hot water down the chute.
Finally broke free. So now I'm ready for round 2 on Saturday.
I took some pictures from inside the house

nothing like seeing a freshly blown driveway and walkway. straight solid lines....its like looking at your freshly cut lawn without weeds... so satisfying

I'd rather cut grass because that means I could take the car out and have some fun.
See how high the windrow is on the bottom picture.
Pissed me off to no end. I looked at the driver and made a motion like I was loading a shotgun haha

We get lucky sometimes. There are no driveways across from seven of us on a dead end road. They often plow it all to the other side. :thankyou: It's really quiet down here. I catch the snowplow at the cul-de-sac every year and give him a big bag of local jerky.

Getting the short block ready for paint. Oil pan, timing cover and intake got painted this morning. Street Hemi Orange.
