It's turning into a real pissing match and lets face it there won't be any winners and a lot of people will get hurt.
It's a real shame this is happening to lifelong friends and neighbours.

Our WOKE feminist leader finally stepped down, but is being replaced by a corp evil empire leader FOR NOW. We are hoping our NEW LEADER will take us into the right direction in a few months. We as a country has never been so broken since i started following 20 years ago. our premier ( doug ford) and our finance minister( big joke there) will be meeting with your guy ( Lutnick) over the trade agreements. Trump was noted as saying " we are going to have a meeting " with the guys over there" today. Trump lost all respect for canada since our old PM ( TRUMDUM) stepped into office in 2015. I feel that we are the laughing stock of the world right now...:( SEE, ALL FIRED up and its only 8am :) )

Cuts need to happen, no doubt about that. My biggest pet peeve is trying to protect us from ourselves. I got a flyer in the mail today, with a stamp, on a colorfully printed poster telling me " because I live close to a river, I should be aware of flooding"....Okay, thanks. WHO'S JOB WAS THAT? I think they make up jobs just to employ over educated people who have been lead to believe that they needed to get higher education in the ALREADY bloated education system and going into debt to do so makes no sense.

Now we have overstaffed bureaucracies with people with no common sense. Try to find a good Plumber these days, or an Auto Body Person. It's just another form of Socialism. It just doesn't work.

right on brother right on!

The hvac/plg industry suffered dearly when the " stay at home" policy (covid19) came into effect. I still came to work each and every day. what a load of bull that was. Our PM was calling everybody people that dont take the 5 shots, a racist! big Pharm paid the leaders huge money to push that agenda no doubt . Small business lost out but wait...walmart stayed open...hmmm,

Well, you know somebody somewhere would like to sue someone else for not informing them about such dangers.:poke:

On a related note, I recently watched a YouTube video about some people who decided to build a very large (3 storey) 'cottage' in Glacier National Park some time ago. It seems that the local government didn't want to be involved with the permitting process, claiming that because it was inside the boundaries of the national park, it was a federal government matter. In the end these fools built this eyesore some 10 feet from the water's edge, but construction was stopped when someone finally got involved and made a complaint based on the potential for water pollution. If I remember right it was near Lake MacDonald.

As for the lack of qualified trades people, well nobody wants to get their hands dirty anymore, they all want to make hundreds of thousands of dollars sitting on their asses in a nice comfy office, or at home.
