To all concerned:both sides of border. In 5 days in Canada we will have a federal election, don’t know when our American neighbours next election will be. Doesn’t matter. The rule stands!
IF YOU DO NOT VOTE, YOU CAN NOT *****. NOT ONE F ING WORD. you had your chance to say something you chose not to so shut the f… up. My opinion
dually noted

What are you guys doing in bed asleep? No more burning the midnight oil?

Morning guys.
Well the countdown is on till I'm under the knife.
Will be glad to get it done and hope this will be the last.
Might rain sometime today but I won't give a **** haha.
So hungry right now I could eat the south end of a north bound skunk.
Have a great day

Morning John. Looks to be a nice sunny day so I might put the Scamp on the ground and go for a drive.
good morning Fred...i will be starting the dart up this weekend as well. Need to change the alternator before a go on any cruise nights this year for sure. Left me stranded at a local car meet in sept last year. thinking of a rebuild instead of new. my pocket book says rebuild, my better judgement says go new. your thoughts?

That's a toss-up, I put a new one on mine when I restored it an only lasted about 10,000 miles.
Took it it to be rebuilt about a year and a half ago and still waiting for it. :BangHead: I bought another new one so hope this one lasts.

Probably a longshot to find a good used one today, that's why I used to keep spares. I still do, but no Mopar ones left now, put my spare GM one in the Ventura last year, and I have one for my 97 T Bird still. I would go with new, unless you have a good rebuild shop in your area, even those are getting hard to find today.

there is a guy close to me

i have to do the cost comparisons b4 i make a commitment, i know, its just an alternator but i work hard for my money and i hate spending more than i have to.

That's what I have on the Scamp so sounds like a good choice.
the engine is 10 over, a mild purple cam and 8 3/4 diff. bought it in 2007 from Wexford Penn. it owes me nothing. it has been one of the most reliable cars i have ever owned. Mind you i only drive it when its nice outside of course. it loves chilly weather.
