Morning guys.
Huge turnout last night at the funeral home.
A little smoky from the fires out west though.
Here's a few of the cars.
Another one tonight just west of here and it's always big.
Would be great to meet you.

Went to a show at one of the local Ford dealers yesterday, fundraiser for the Ride for Dad prostate cancer event that will be in late July. Pretty good turnout, about 150 cars and bikes. Most of them I have seen before and likely posted pictures. A few that I don't remember seeing.

This 69 Fairlane 500 was factory ordered, still belongs to the original owner. He told me that the "Sunliner" option was $82.00, and it was the only one built in 1969. Car has 26k original miles on it, 351W 4 bbl, buckets and console, factory tow package, used it to pull a horse trailer for the first 2 years. The roof panel is the same as the rear window.

I had a 68, but mine was the formal roof, not a sportsroof.

Holy crap! I’ve never even heard of this option for a ‘69, and I like to think I’m a Ford guy!

Thank you for posting this!

I have to wonder sooo many people have to work on their engines at a car show. Can I help? Maybe we can get your hood closed. Lol

I look around and see how many open their hoods then decide.
Morning guys.
Wife and I pulled out 4 boxwood bushes yesterday and two on Saturday.
They sure put up a fight though. Couldn't use a come along because nothing to hook too.
The last one was a bugger so got my reciprocating saw and finally made short work of it.
We wanted to get them out as it's yard waste pickup today. Those guys will earn their keep this morning with the bushes and bags of yard waste.
Went to another car show last night, it was overcast and quite windy but a good turnout.
Tonight doesn't look good for the show tonight. It's calling for rain so wait and see.
There was another good show 40+ miles east of here. 500 cars showed up and they raised 2052 dollars on the 50/50 for Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. The guy has a show every year for the hospital.
