Hi guys.. well it's slowly starting to cool down a bit but still and good wind gusting to 30mpg

Just got home from grocery shopping and put everything away.
Got a cheap air rifle, Crosman was under 60 bucks and 700 feet per second tops. If it kills 2 Squirrels I'll be happy. And if it doesn't I'll get the shot gun out and pepper the bustards all over the yard.

Take a few shots off a rest see how accurate it is, it’ll help you as well. Send 5 or 6 down the pipe of the 7mm mag before hunting season helps me. As far as the shot gun #6 upland shot will work nicely, but your neighbours might not be impressed LOL. Just something about guns in town don’t understand it yet there it is.

The only other thing I can think of is read the manual and oil the cylinder and piston accordingly that will keep your FPS up.

My 50 some odd year old 620 siliva will still smash a coke bottle to bits. Good out to 25/30 yards. Use it often.
Will do that in the morning to sight it in and I'll sit on the front porch and enjoy my coffee and have some fun. I have two neighbors that would be happy to see the little bustards gone.

When you look outside in the morning and see breakfast sitting on your front lawn slurp smack. Fresh grouse is awesome for breakfast.
Haven't had Grouse in years and guess in the smoker is really good.

I thought you sent me a pic of sharp tail sitting on your front lawn. I’ve got both here and Hungarian partridge but those are hard to get. Small, fly fast and scare the **** out of you when they explode out of the long grass

Sharp tail you have to use a knife to breast them out just like a farm chicken. Grouse you stand on wings close to body grab feet and pull. Cut wings off and breakfast.
Sounds good with Tabasco sauce and an English muffin.

That’s if you like hot sauce. Myself I prefer the bacon fat, garlic, pepper, onion approach, fresh grated garlic. Keeps people at a distance that way they’re not close enough to give you a cold or Covid
I like garlic the best and onion
My pellet gun manufacturer said to put 100 rounds through it before sighting it in. My first 2 shots sounded louder than a 22 longg rifle. the third shot quieted right down and dropped the trajectory a bunch. Its a Ruger Blackhawk. 1000 fps. I have not shot it but maybe 20 times so far. It's kind of all over the place on the target.
