Clean it, factory grease in barrel. My experience. My pellet gun manufacturer said to put 100 rounds through it before sighting it in. My first 2 shots sounded louder than a 22 longg rifle. the third shot quieted right down and dropped the trajectory a bunch. Its a Ruger Blackhawk. 1000 fps. I have not shot it but maybe 20 times so far. It's kind of all over the place on the target.
I'll pass thanksSounds good with Tabasco sauce and an English muffin.
I didn't see anything like that in the Manual with either of mine (.177 and .22), but I did find that the accuracy went up after 25 rounds or so. And I cleaned the barrel in both. Guess they have a break-in period as well.My pellet gun manufacturer said to put 100 rounds through it before sighting it in. Morning, Fred.Happy Friday to ya guys.
Raining so not going to do any sand blasting on the 63 so I think I'll change oil and filter on the Scamp.
I cleaned it very well like the manual said to do.Clean it, factory grease in barrel. My experience.
Probably read that online. Specifically talking about using a scope.I didn't see anything like that in the Manual with either of mine (.177 and .22), but I did find that the accuracy went up after 25 rounds or so. And I cleaned the barrel in both. Guess they have a break-in period as well.
Edit: I did notice the type, and quality, of the pellets made a significant difference in accuracy, as some manufacturers seem to be better at holding tolerances than others.
Hope he's doing wellEvening guys. went out early this morning to see my son in Bismark and drove the Scamp there and had a good visit and a fun ride there and back.
