Morning guys.
It sure was hot at the show last night.
Parked under a tree so got some shade and a nice breeze. On the downside, now I have sap on the car that has to be removed. Can't win!!
Here's some shots from the show

First year of my apple tree having a good bunch of apples on it and looks like Squirrels like green apples. They take a bite and drop the apple on the ground and then pick another apple. I'm done with putting up with them and time to kill a few I think.

A .177 cal air rifle does that job rather nicely.

Or so I’ve heard….

Got my Thunderbird running tonight, seems to run fine, didn't go for a road test yet, still have to do a little reassembly first, still amazed at how tightly packed everything is in that engine bay. Tomorrow I'll get it finished and out for a run.

You’re annoyed with them eating your apples, wait until they get in your buildings. Had a couple nests in buildings early on when I moved into this oak bush. Put a bounty on them and between me and my boys over that time must have shot 500 squirrels. Still see the odd one, but he doesn’t have a long life expectancy. One of those high powered air rifles is the ticket, silent. Then a bread bag over the hand scoop squirrel into trash.

My son has one of those and needs a license because of the power it has.

I'll lay out some traps and go buy me a pellet gun. I need to get rid of them before they cause any more trouble.

Yup! My .177 Gamo "Whisper Quiet" came with a scope that has helped me "reach out and tough someone" over 100 feet away, which is plenty far for squirrels. They also make a .22 cal version for larger critters, but that one's a little noisier, and may not be as good for city/suburbs use...(damn nosy neighbors!)
