Morning guys.
It rained overnight and practically all day yesterday but we sure needed it.
This morning is cool but nice and sunny.
May have to break out the jeans for the car show tonight.
The highways are going to be nuts tonight because of the long weekend and being the last day of summer.
I shake my head at some of the idiots on the road today.
Wednesday I was in town and this young guy (maybe 14) was following me in the 300.
I suddenly heard him passing me between the car and the curb.
I followed him until he stopped and stalled the bike.
I rattled his cage telling him he was a bonehead pulling a dumb stunt like that. Of course he apologized and I asked him how his parents would feel with you being dead and I would have to live with that for the rest of my life? I hope it sunk in.
OK... are you ready for the heart test?

I found this set about 5 years ago in Indianapolis that a guy brought back from California. I had been searching since 2008 He had them listed on Marketplace and I paid 800 for the pair with wheelwells

Morning guys.
It was a great show last night but it sure got cold later.
Some major shrinkage let me tell ya.
I took some pictures but still trying to figure out the mail and how you save the pics to pictures. My grandson will be here on Sunday and he'll show me. He's our computer geek lol.
Supposed to be sunny but not sure if I'll go to the car show tonight.
Had jeans and sweatshirt and jacket on last night and needed it.
There was a funeral on last night but the people insisted the show go on.
Have a great weekend and play safe. You're all needed on here.

Heading for Winnipeg for a week, hope to have a chance to meet with Murray at some point. Planning to check out the Sunday night cruise and car show, maybe even run into a few old friends. My wife has the week mostly planned out, meeting her sister and some friends we haven't seen in a year or two. Going to take the 89 Thunderbird and put some miles on it, should be a good time.

How about this little story. The wife and I were shopping for a new car for her, when to all major brands. She test drove all the ones she was interested in did the research into each and we decided on a 2025 Toyota Rav 4. So we go back to the Toyota dealer ask for original salesman, he gets the paperwork going then stands up from his desk and points to a room in the back of the showroom. He said I need to go there back in a minute. While we were waiting for him a fire truck shows up with an ambulance. Then we see our salesman go out the door on a stretcher. Dealership was very good to us and we did buy that car. Found out after poor guy had a heart attack and lived through it.

My son, his fiance and her daughter went into a Toyota dealer and he bought a new Tundra, his fiance bought a new Rav4 Hybrid and her daughter bought a regular Rav 4.
Went for a drive in his fiance's and must admit it drove out quite nice.
I still like Mopars the best though.
Went to the car show last night and I think everyone and their uncle was there.
Huge turnout and met some new people. I left before the sun went down so wasn't too bad.
I'll be posting pictures maybe tonight.
