Stainless welding is nasty stuff. I hope he is utilizing good respiratory protection. The defunct aluminum company I refer to has stainless steel welders dropping like flies.
Evening gents! I had a nasty long day. I will do my best to hit all the high marks. I will hit the young un up. I do have multiple Dakota Dash's and assorted Dakota products. I simply do not have enough good to say about them. As for the rail road I have operators and heavy truck license including crane. Our facility has a rail spur and we have a large loader so as a result I do all the heavy equipment operating. But fundamentally I am a welder, I specialize in SST fabrication for the food industry. I have recently hired a couple of young men and am working very hard to pass the torch by teaching them to do layout and welding. The layout is much more difficult. To BPs point my body is shot. I built plants all over the world and was able to retire early. It did not suit me however. Soma buddy needed some help in Fargo so the rest is history! I will head back South once I get this place ina position to turn it over to the young ones. I told them two more years max and I m out regardless. And we would bounce up your way Fred if you boys want to have some kind of drink swilling BBQ event! It would be a hoot. Apologies for the long winded response but you boys were busy today.

Who did it MMP? May I inquire as to the cost or would you have to kill me?
Dakota Digital

SLO has that dash in his car Jeff was hoping MMP would have answered but he must be busy.

Sorry guys as for the price I would rather not say
I did some work for the company in order to get a better deal.

You are correct I am simply a millwright done good. No cancer just battered broken patched up body! To many years farming, climbing, kneeling, and welding. Got my journeyman millwright card back when we were part of the carpenters local early eighties. They didn't know what else to do with us. It caused a brawl on every job site with the iron workers. Them was the days! Hah!

Good evening guys, nice day here on the west coast , no rain, 7 deg Canadian, working on an f150 exhaust manifold studs fun with a capital F . My dad always said patience is a virtue.

Evidently your Dad didn't work flat rate. Order me a new manifold and crank up the cutting torch.

Oh yes I did order both new manifolds but the studs break off in the head and she’s tight , only saving grace is I got a system, :)

I have done these through the wheelwell cut the heads off then take the manifold off. Heat the head inside the port and they usually run right out. Results may vary. lol

Yes I take my die grinder when there broke off in the head drive them deeper then Center punch and left hand drill bit them out , results vary , if the studs hanging out I weld a nut on it let it cool and turn them out

Anyone care to share a F.O.R.D. acronym meaning that I have not heard. I'll start F####d over rebuilt Dodge.

Good morning to all!

60°F here in central NC and raining like an Amazon rain forest. Must be global warming I would guess. The glaciers are melting on me this year! Looks like you fellas in the Northern latitudes got dumped on with snow. Hope everyone is doing ok!
