I have manual steering on my duster ,I'm happy with it!Thanks FOG I didn't know that.
Yes BP will keep mine as well just in case.
I will just go with a Skinner tire on the front if I have problems in parking lots. I would think that would help anyway.
I think I will be to FOG. Really wanted a light weight box but not in the budget this year.I have manual steering on my duster ,I'm happy with it!
I think so Fred. If I can flip this Impala its all going to the Cuda. BTW. I think you will need a different pitman arm as well. You can always source a manual steering column too or have SLO weld up an extension to your shaft.Hey BP you gonna get a chance to work on your Cuda this year?
I think the pitman arm is different and that joint that Mopar gave us is going bye bye for sure.I think so Fred. If I can flip this Impala its all going to the Cuda. BTW. They also make a different coupler that is more like a C.V. joint instead of that funky complicated plunging thing that Mopar gave us.
Maybe you'll get Biff's fenders insteadWell guys primer is going on over the epoxy now.
Ordered my manual steering box and should be in by Monday.
And my check book is empty. lol
I have power steering in the Cuda and I like it. My 70 Duster had manual steering and was fairly good with the bias tires on but then I put radials on it and took a lot more effort if you were parking and I also had a smaller custom wheel on it which didn't helpI have manual steering on my duster ,I'm happy with it!

Good old days for sure we use to heal up real quick and would have to learn another lesson doing the same stupid thing. Not so much anymore I learn the first time now. lolMy old Ford truck had manual steering. I remember backing into a deep rut or something and that wheel spinning like a fan. It would break bones if you weren't careful. Drum brakes too. Ahhh the good ol' days.
Nice, sure looks better than factory. Thanks BP.View attachment 1715299404View attachment 1715299405
