Always rain it seems when trying to harvest. Hope you do good and get it done before you get rain.
I remember the neighbor going buy my farm house in his combine trying to get his crop in and would run and jump on and give him a beer and sandwich and take over so he could relax for a round or two. He and his wife did all the farming and was great to help sometimes. Sure miss that.

I started going to a mill that is twice as far last year. They are always friendly and have apples and peanuts for me and the grand daughter when we weigh out. Today they must have known we didnt have time for lunch and gave us hot dogs and chips for out drop around noon. Treating people like family is why they have my business.

Everyone wants to put her in a nursing home because everyone works and she can't be left alone but she is stubborn and wants to stay home. Tried to get her to come live with me but she said no.

Sounds like she is feisty which is good but eventually she will need that help. Sad time of life really.

Morning guys. Had a lovely day out yesterday. My buddy called me and we met up and went for a drive...he in his goat and me in my car. We stopped at a Timmies for a drink and we attracted a lot of people looking at the cars and great conversation and laughs. Another guy pulled in with a 65 Dodge 440 2 dr ht 318 polly with working ac. Nice car and owned it since 1985. It was a gorgeous day.

Hey fellow Canucks...don't forget to get out and vote today. Sick and tired of all the political crap especially all the lies from the PC's. Just remember what Ford has done here in Ontario. But get out and vote or don't complain about government.

I hate farming asphalt but ya gotta do what ya gotta do! Many sleepless nights running crop to processing plants. Pitch black, raining, narrow twisty two lane roads to processors in middle of nowhere, dodging scales perhaps a bit north of 80k pound loads! Trailer longer than radius of turn. Wife only rode with me once. She looked down on her side and saw nothing but air, she was done.
