Morning Fred...may go out to the boneyard today with a buddy to look for some car parts. Always love walking through them, you see some interesting things sometimes.
Monday I'm heading up North about a 1.5 drive to bring a friend's 63 Vette (327 4 speed) back to his place. He's sold it to a guy from Michigan and my friend can't drive it anymore because of hip problems. He just sold his 70 Chevelle 454 Convertible to his bother 2 weeks ago. Then maybe Tuesday we'll drive back up North again to bring his 61 Vette (283 2x4 4 speed all factory and mint) back as well as he has plans to sell it as well. He also has two Cadillac Allante's and 3 Cadillac DeVille's he wants to sell. He's going to keep his 2005 Stang ragtop 5 liter as it's an auto and no problem driving that. Thinning out the herd so to speak. He also has well over 1000 diecast in displays all over the house. He has 100's of pamphlets from dealerships on cars back to 66 as well. GM, FORD and MOPAR. He's a hoarder as you can tell. Good guy though and a big heart.
sure would love to see his collection.
Sounds like your gonna have lots of fun next week I love wrecking yards. Going to one I hope next week I'm looking for a center console and bucket seats for my scamp.
Mark if you can get us some pictures of your friends vette.

I had a 68 vette T top 427 4 speed when I was a kid it was a nice car but I think GM could of done a better job on the suspension.

Hi Fred...here's the two Vettes my buddy owns. The red one is the 63 and the blue is the 61. He drove the red one all over and as you can see down to California as well.

I would love to take a long road trip in my scamp with a bunch of guys in there cars as well.
That's a to do on my bucket list.

Did your weather warm up Biff. Been funny here today. Sun has been in and out all day but is warm. Not sure if I'll go to the car show tonight or not. They'll be around 200+ cars there so will be a good one but just not 100% yet. Have a good one.Morning men you all have a good weekend !

My grand kids well 9 anyway just left so nice and quiet now.
I got an oil leak in the scamp gonna see if I can find it, she pissed oil all over the garage floor.
I think I made the old girl mad at me but like most women I have no idea what I did wrong.
No still cold rain off and on ,check out 70dartmikes post from the car show on the 27 of last month thats what it looked like last week . Some super nice cars .
Well FOG if were horse power the leak would be a steady drip every other second but mine is more of a dribble.
But I did find it. Well I found one anyway.
