I think I just found the problem. I was wondering why it was running lean and was out in the garage and checked my carb to intake bolts one is stripped out. That would for sure be the problem.
Sometimes I can't see past my nose.
Gonna need a bigger fuel pump for the new engine anyway.

That'll cause it for sure. Good diagnosing Fred.
 

All fixed the stud only stripped out a few threads so easy fix. no new gasket so i'll have to get one today.
Gonna have to race my sons Fiat again :steering:
 
Wow...it's a hot one today guys. Feels like 41C (105F) Where my son lives it feels like 47C (116F). Don't think We'll be going to the car show tonight. Don't cherish the thought of standing on hot asphalt and no shade till around 8:30-9:00 tonight.

I feel like I will melt if I stay out for too long here also.
 
It is getting close. Blue would be a decent Canadian to keep cool with.
You need a good (so I’m told ) lucky lager beer only thing guys drink around here ,sorry it’s so hot back there it 20 deg here rain on and off nice and cool .
