Fired a whole lots of .50 caliber too. That's truly a beast for for a bullet.

Barret's a nice rifle!
I figured you shot your fair share of 50s Jeff. Never tried one in full auto and wouldn't want to. lol
I had an AK 47 full auto for a few years and not to bad to shoot from the hip anyway but just wasted lots of ammo. I sold it and now have an AR-15 semi auto that is much more accurate.

I would have like to do that myself Fred. I'd be ok with a lot of the mechanical stuff and possibly the wiring too but body work would be out of the question. That would have been back in the day of course. Good luck to doing that now. Too many aches and pains. Just heard that tonight will be very cold. Will feel like -24c tonight. We'll be warm inside. Glad we don't have a dog that needs to go out for a walk.
The body work is the easy part building an engine is the hardest for me and the wiring.
I sure wish Jeff and Biff and SLO lived a lot closer we could help each other.

I just read that the Chrysler Building is up for sale, come on guys dig deep!

my understanding is that 10 years ago it sold for $80,000,000 US. They said it probably won't sell for nearly that this time however.

no matter, I do have deep pockets for the things I like, but my arms are really short!

Hello fellows. When I was at the range the other day my new friend had a Mosin Nagant. He cast his own bullets and powder coated them. He just put them in a baggy of the powder and shook it around then put them in a toaster oven. He loaded them for targets. Open sights. I had more fun with that than I did with all of the high dollar stuff. No kick at all and could group with in inches at a hundred yards. HAVE A GREAT DAY!

I understand that is the rifle that butthead used to shoot Kennedy JFK.

The 338 may be the next small arms round adopted by the USMC. I am not sure I am a big fan of that either!

Back to the fence. Have 20 tons of gravel coming today also!

Ouch, I already hurt!

Yikes. Hope ya have tractor.

Yeah that's the part I was thinking. We used to get them in a 8ft strip with chrome on the top edge. But those ones are factory. Depends on how accurate it has to be.
It doesn't have to be accurate. Cheap and effective would be great. I could use your advise and techniques. A link to the product would be great too.

They already do Fred in the Province of Quebec. I think it's like 14,000 last year
I don't mind helping others out but 2 of my boys have gone down to Guatemala I think it was there. Anyway they said the poor people down there would not even fix there own broken door to there house no ambition at all just waiting for a small job and get fed one more day.
I cannot help people that can't help themselves.

I'm with you 100% Fred. These supposed homeless people we have around here panhandling. They'll have signs saying "will work for food" and yet they'll walk right by the signs at Walmart etc saying "Hiring". They'd rather get the handouts than be employed. I don't get them anything and discourage other people not to either because that just encourages them.
We were in the bank a couple of weeks ago and I recognized one of them and he walked up to the counter and deposited money into his account. The bugger probably has more than me.

When I lived in Lexington, KY there was a guy who was arrested for illegal panhandling. He was on the evening news laughing at everyone with a job. He said he made $100,000 last year.

Tax Free!

He pissed off the wrong people and they did jail him for tax evasion if I remember correctly.
