Evening gents! I had a nasty long day. I will do my best to hit all the high marks. I will hit the young un up. I do have multiple Dakota Dash's and assorted Dakota products. I simply do not have enough good to say about them. As for the rail road I have operators and heavy truck license including crane. Our facility has a rail spur and we have a large loader so as a result I do all the heavy equipment operating. But fundamentally I am a welder, I specialize in SST fabrication for the food industry. I have recently hired a couple of young men and am working very hard to pass the torch by teaching them to do layout and welding. The layout is much more difficult. To BPs point my body is shot. I built plants all over the world and was able to retire early. It did not suit me however. Soma buddy needed some help in Fargo so the rest is history! I will head back South once I get this place ina position to turn it over to the young ones. I told them two more years max and I m out regardless. And we would bounce up your way Fred if you boys want to have some kind of drink swilling BBQ event! It would be a hoot. Apologies for the long winded response but you boys were busy today.
That's ok SLO I was sleeping anyway.

Good morning to all!

60°F here in central NC and raining like an Amazon rain forest. Must be global warming I would guess. The glaciers are melting on me this year! Looks like you fellas in the Northern latitudes got dumped on with snow. Hope everyone is doing ok!
We got around 6" of snow in the morning then a ton of rain which along with 5c weather helped to melt the snow but then the flooding started. One large apt building in Toronto had flooding in the electrical room and knocked the whole system out. Will be several days before that gets fixed so till then everyone is in the dark with no heat etc.

Morning guys -6* F this morning and with the wind chill is -32*F. Not sure how much snow we got I would guess 3". No walk today I think I want to keep my balls on.

BBQ for sure SLO would like that.

Morning BP what's on your list of things to do today.
I'm welding the rust holes in the floor of the scamp and then Por-15.
I'm gonna pull the front clip off of the Impala and then the engine to change out the oil pump. Its building too much pressure and the oil pan is pretty beat up. I have a good oil pan for it. It looks like the powerglide is leaking out of the linkage area. I don't know a thing about that. I've been looking for a good deal for a turbo 350 because the are virtually a bolt in swap from what I can tell.

Grease monkey day. I believe your right tranny is an easy swap and if I remember the drive line splines are the same but not sure on drive line length.

Drive line length is good if you get the right one long or short tail shaft I forget right now. Just have to move the crossmember.
