Well I pulled the trigger on the inner fenders
And a radiator core support and a couple of cowl supports. All in, just over 800 bucks with shipping. If I don't end up needing the cowl, supports no worries I can stash them. They were cheap. Inner fenders however not so much. I got them from Summit as I saved about 100 bucks overall with not going direct to AMD. I went to AMD website got part numbers then banged em in Summit. Holy smokes body parts are pricey. Looks like I have to take fenders off to get to inners. Dang it!
Fred has his fenders off. For some reason I think they are stuck on with some pretty aggressive seam sealer not sure on that but a little heat should help if that is the case.

I looked at mine pretty seriously today while I was thrashing and it appears my fenders are not only bolted but spot welded on as well. I have no idea if that is correct or left overs from the butchers that owned her before me. We are talking roofing sheetmetal screws everywhere. The guy was a hack.

Geez you guys have been busy while I was away having fun. It was a great car show though. I've got a lot of pictures to load on here but waiting for my phone to charge. I almost killed the battery.
Tom was there from Misfit Garage. I personally didn't see him but my friend had his picture taken with Tom and his wife. The place was packed though. It must have been Mustang Appreciation Week they were a dime a dozen. One whole room was nothing but rice burners so we didn't go through there. All in all a good day and I had a free pass also so I split the cost with my buddy.

One more thing I wanted to say about the inner fender but didn't want to insult your intelligence but I decided to take that chance cause I know how bad I get tunnel vision sometimes sooo, when you plan your removal, take into consideration that some welds can simply be drilled all of the way out and then the panel you are not replacing already has the hole drilled in for welding if you can get to the weld from that side. Technically we are not suppose to do that on unit-body cars because of the heat affected zone but that's for HSS and your car is pretty customized already.

That's nice that they separated the rice burners. Glad it was fun for you. I'll bet Tom is the same nutjob in real life as he is on TV. Looking forward to some pictures.

Not to bad taking off a fender if they been off before. Mine were glued on from the factory and had to cut the glue off. Glad you got the inners but sorry about spending lots of money on them.
Not much snow here today been at my daughters house with the grand kids all day and had a blast talking and tickling them all.

Yep laster works And I be firster. Mark must have had a long night at the car show.
Hi Fred...we got there at 10am and left at 2:30.
My friend had his 63 Vette in there and had his picture taken with Tom Smith and his wife and then his Vette won runner up in the antique Corvette Convertible category. He got his award from Bogi from "All Girl's Garage".
