Well hope ya show up and join the rest of us under the canopies.
Thanks, Fred!

I have a small, and somewhat pixelated, picture of the FABO group from last year that I show my wife on occasion ("This is Fred...."), and I was given the honor of signing the banner, but I never did get one of your hot dogs!

I'm not sure but guessing on the internet. Some of the guns are over 1,000 new and I think he's selling them for 300 a piece.
Don't sound like good "beginners" guns, I would bet. Most likely I'd just mess 'em up.

I'll probably buy a cheap Chinesium gun at HF when the time comes, 'cuz if I mess that up- who cares?

I wish you would have got one or more. I came home with a pile of them and chips and condiments I didn't need.
Thinking of doing it again this year but maybe hamburgers this time or something different.

Yea I don't blame you there. and some of the cheap guns spray just fine.

I was torn between two places last year, and if I (heck, we!) make it this year, I'm hoping Barry parks the car closer to the FABO spots.

(Edit: And please count me in on the grocery bill, regardless of whether I/we make it or not!)

Yea his car is really nice and he needs to be part of the gang.
Not charging for the food and I like to feed people. I wouldn't mind if someone else cooked, my cooking skills suck. lol

Hi Guys.
I like all this talk about car shows.
Looking forward to April 1st. I usually get the car out on that date unless the weather is pretty good and had lots of rain to wash the salt off the roads then I'll get it earlier.
Going to get the rear end rebuilt this year.
This guy is really good. He insists that you drive your car into the shop and up onto the hoist. I like that

This cold weather has been tough on the equipment, yesterday my tractor's aftertreatment system took a dump when a plastic line cracked. Was limited to 55 mph getting back home, switched tractors this morning and had issues with the lights not working. Finally got that resolved and was 2 1/2 hours behind when I finally got on the road. Now I'm sitting with a broken air line coupler, blocking half of a street, waiting for a service truck, and wondering what else can go bad today. Going to be a late finish today.

Crap. Hope they are paying well. Tough way to make a living.

I remember those days, usually started out laying in a snow bank pounding brake drums to release the brakes, and it only went downhill from there. Pulled in to pembina nd with brake pot freezing up took the line off the main tank and poured 3/4 gallon brake antifreeze, it was spraying out pots. Fixed problem though. Lots of memories from my driving day most good, some not so.

Kind of reminds me of an older, new friend of mine. He is a pilot. He flew b-52s towing experimental aircraft at area 51 but he was also stationed in Minot. He said the cold was really no problem unless the aircraft had to go into the hanger for maintenance or repair.
He says all of the snow and ice would melt and end up refreezing in places that would cause trouble. He is one cool cat. He restores eclectic motorcycles now and grows hemp. All of 90 years old and sharp as a tack.

I have a few pilot friends and they all like motorcycles.

Same here. Got stuck in Chicago in town at 10 PM and went under a bridge that tore a hole in my trailer roof from a bolt sticking down off the bridge. Not bad but I stopped before it went too far and got out of the truck and had a front ladder on the trailer to go to the roof and check it out. A homeless person jumped in my truck and started taking my belongings out of the truck. I climbed off the ladder yelling at him to stop and a man and his wife that was walking down the road pulled the guy out of my truck and emptied his pockets of my stuff and kicked his *** down the street. The guy that helped me told me not to ever try to stop anyone from robbing me in Chicago without having a gun to back me up, or better to just let them take what they want and get the hell out of there. That was the last time I ever drove semi in Chicago. All the hookers at truck stops and the guys trying to break into my truck while I was sleeping was an eye awaking and never again will I do truck driving state to state.
Use to do a milk run in Chicago, one delivery 5 or 6 pickups. Would sleep in Joillette be on the road at 5:00 am get in and out before dark. That’s the way I handled all big cities, didn’t matter if the place ran 24/7, or what time I got there, in and out in the daylight. If the dispatcher didn’t like it oh well, not much he’s going to do about it. Go ahead fire me. I was looking for a job when I found this one.
