My apple tree is a every other year producing tree and had 2 apples on the tree last year and the deer ate them before I did. :BangHead:
Ha, My neighbors trees are usually like that too. One produces one year and the other produces the next year. The year before they both produced and this years harvest was barley any from one tree.

My apple tree is still young but really good honey crisp apples when it produces enough for me and the dam deer.

My neighbor doesnt get it. They water at the trunk. I just bite my tongue.
I water mine out at the branches out past the trunk. It seems to like it better, but I have a black mold growing on the tree and been working with that with a bit of bleach. Not a green thumb in me so just reading what should be done.

I don't know how you guys feel but I'm in my house and it's 72* and I'm cold. I'm tired of winter and it's 6 above outside and a Sunny day.

I am done with winter myself. The forecast for 10 days out has us still in the teens. It took awhile to come in but winter wont let go

Well rebuilt the carb changed plugs , cap and rotor tonight. The accelerator pump was torn and the hole for it to squirt into the venturi was plugged. I had to clean it with a torch tip cleaner because whatever was in there was tough to get out. It now starts easy and runs good with no stumble but has a slight shake at idle which might come out after a tank or 2 of gas.

She is 14 so I have time. It still needs the torn rag joint on the steering replaced and I want to find a radiator for it before she gets it.

Had an apple tree in the backyard of one of my houses that had not been looked after before I bought the house. I spread some manure around the base of the tree and through the yard, then forgot about it over the winter. The following summer we had lots of rain, my grass was growing like crazy, and come the fall, that tree produced a good 50 pounds of apples. I gave away as much as possible but still had more than I could hope to use.

Seems to me all trees seem to produce a larger crop every second year. My Burr oak trees act like that. Saskatoon berries, cranberries, and Hazelnuts all are the same. Sure is a lot of work to pick them but a warm Saskatoon pie is a welcome sight these days

Morning guys. Well looks like about 4" of snow so far.
Will wait till later and see if it starts up again
Will be hovering around 0 f today.
Hope there's more than football and reruns on today.
Enjoy your day whatever you do

Going to smoke a chicken for dinner. Clean up the lab, rework the spacing on my gang of dadio blades for box joint. Middle pin is 10 thou. To thin makes for a little to loose fit. When you change jigs you have to rework everything. Be good be careful if you can’t be careful don’t name it after me

Hi guys, well the snow finally stopped and we got roughly 6 inches so not bad.
I went out this morning and blew out 3 driveways and felt pretty good really.
It was a good tired if you know what I mean.
At least the wind has died right down so wasn't bad out.
Roast chicken for supper tonight. The smell in the house is amazing with all the onions etc
Enjoy the game if you're so inclined. Not me, I'm sure I can find something else to watch.
Have fun.

Been at my sons house in Minot today and got me some more Epoxy resin and hardener. also some heavy fiberglass cloth. The long roll of cloth is about 200 pounds and the smaller roll is about 100 pounds. Got a bunch of goodies that the windmill tower crew was going to throw in the garbage. I'm a happy camper...

I think people who do not understand the sports seem to deflect from participating. I don't watch hockey.

Yes it is and I enjoy making fiberglass parts. Made about 15 chin spoilers for 73 on up A body cars and sold them pretty fast.
Might do a few custom center consoles for different cars and I plan on making my grandkids a hot rod go cart soon.
