Had to shoot two of my dogs, one with cancer of the mouth, one with a broken back. Possibly two of the hardest things I’ve had to do. Tears in eyes as I type. On hound dog # 6 now , when he goes it will rip my heart out. But he protects my place and free to go where he chooses. Have never tied one up or had a kennel. Dog rule, only one dog at a time, he will listen to you, two dogs they are busy playing with each other and won’t listen to you.I lost to many dogs that I loved and I can't do it anymore. Feels like loosing one of my kids.
