sorry buddy..I didnt see this until this Am. It would have been nice indeed.

Turned out I didn't go as the weather was iffy but call me when you want to go.
I know it's quite a drive for you but worth it because it's a huge turnout.
I can't go on the 400 series highways as I have historic plates on the car

Morning guys.
It was so hot yesterday we didn't do much and will be worse today.
Didn't go to the car show last night and debating about tonight.
The air was so thick with humidity.
My wife turned the air on this morning around 2am.
My neighbour came over and cut our grass. After he finished the front, I gave him a bottle of water and when he was done the three of us sat with a rye and coke.

yeah, no worries Mark. we invited a few friends over that night anyway. a BBQ, under the gazebo watching the moto gp race on our outdoor TV set. it was over by 11;00. I remember when the party was just getting started at that time

Well I took Victoria for a hot summers day blast, car show and some drag racing, I opted out on the drag racing because I enjoy my 60 mph at 2 thousand rpm gears (2.97 sure grip 8 1/4) heat index was 103 and humid. The drive home was not to bad, but I am glad she has a white top.

Not this guy! Based on this picture of the same “vehicle” (and note the vacuum cleaner hose):

I just have to wonder about the quality of the rest of the build.

I get the “Roadkill” and Duct Tape Drags aura the builder may have been shooting for, but this gets hard a “nope!” from me.

Oh man is it hot and humid. I will go to the car show tonight though. There is some shade and also a Timmies next door so the ice-caps will be really good tonight.

Our group has a nice tree to sit under plus and a nice breeze so wasn't bad and like I said the Ice Cap was exceptionally good.
I didn't go around and take any pictures, I just wanted to stay in the shade.
The one tonight has been cancelled because of the heat.
We broke a record yesterday.

Had a bit of a scare last night. My wife phones me up complaining that the AC hadn't come on in 3 hours and the house was getting warm. Seems like the system I put in has an "eco option" and will turn off in peak hours to save electricity. Now you can by pass this with a simple inter face toggle switch. the house was a mere 26 degrees inside. I wasnt going to tell them that i can bypass this, sooooo it came back on @ 8pm. Little does my family know, before the advent of the central AC, we relied on the window banger and fans. Gotta toughin them up somehow lol. Have a good day boys, its going to be another sticky one out there again today!

Last week of vacation so I went to the village show with the Laguna. No picks because it got to 5 cars and the skies let loose. It was still good to get out and talk with fellow gear heads.

Morning guys.
Will be a little cooler today but not by much.
As you know I had a hearing test a little while ago and ordered new hearing aids.
Since that I've had an irritation in my one ear.
Went to my DR yesterday thinking I had an ear infection.
He looked in the ear and said "Holy crap what is that"?
Turns out it was the rubber disc from a hearing aid from when they were performing a fitting.
He tried his best to get it out but to no avail so today I go to an ENT to get it removed, I hope haha.
No car show tonight (normal) and no shows the next couple of days either because of much needed rain and a funeral on Friday.
At least it will be cooler for a few days and can turn off the a/c and open the windows.

but i bet your pocket book was growing. the busy season is usually june when everyone calls complaining they have no ac.
