I don't do well in the heat as well so totally understand that.

Same. Not sure if I posted it here in this thread or elsewhere, but I got hit with some heat exhaustion on the 4th while working on the shed. Dizziness, nausea, and one helluva headache.

And even though it was only 80* or so on Sunday, and the walls are (somewhat) insulated, the damn shed still got hot, as the metal roof just radiated the heat downward....

Heat = miserable working conditions.

Had that problem yesterday, outside sand blasting car parts and all suited up in protective gear and got dizzy and had to stop.
Think at my age I best not overdo it.

Spent an hour and a half last night in the garage, got the right side valve cover off, changed the plugs and wires, they were clearly the originals. New gasket is in place, cover is cleaned and ready to go back on, but I want to put some blue loctite on the bolts before I reinstall it. The pipe in the back is the intake charge inlet, which I was hoping I could leave in place, but it impedes the removal of the cover on the driver's side, so it has to come off and that means that I need a new gasket for it. I will try the local parts store after work today, otherwise it's already in my cart at RockAuto.

Rockauto's site is such a pleasure to navigate around. very user friendly with someone that has ZERO patience for the weeb such as myself. Gotta be a boomer thing for me

Yup, youtube and forums like this one are great sources of information. I joined the Super Coupe club of America forum for some of the information I needed for this latest project.

My wife has ABSOLUTELY ZERO, NIL, NADA, HELL NO! patience when she is on the internet.

lol...yup. I used to have SOME patience mind you, about 15 years ago but now you have to figure out how to link your phone to email and switch on notifications etc. f**k off . ( The tech keeps changing faster than i can except it for cryin out loud) ! This world has gotten way to fast now. Fast food isn't fast food anymore. I watch people line up at a fast food restaurant rolling their eyes cause they didn't get their processed junk in 4 minutes flat

In fact, I'm starting to delete and/or cancel accounts (eBay/PayPay, for one), as I'm sick and tired of this ****. I learned a saying years ago ("Big Fish in a small pond"), and it seems like almost everywhere I turn, someone out there thinks that they are the "Big Fish", and that I need to share some of my info with them.

Screw 'em. We've even gone so far as to go back to using cash for our purchases lately.

The white Dart is my buddies car. 408 535hp 5 speed. He's now 83 and he just hammer's that shifter. He did that several years ago and bent the driveshaft.
