My son had a brisket on the smoker for a number of hours and really tender plus fresh picked corn on the cob.
A good drive up though.

Garbage sale at fil’s today. Everything under $2. What doesn’t sell is land fill. Done moving that crap around. Time to move on.

A very long day yesterday but it was a good one. Finally had decent enough weather to go to Calgary after work last night and meet up with my brother. We took the 79 Trans Am that he recently finished out first, then went back and got the 70 Chevelle SS454. Had a good time just out cruising around Calgary, we did get to a gathering at one of the A&W locations and saw some interesting cars.

This 70 Roadrunner has had "extensive bodywork'" done on every panel except the roof skin. Owner painted it himself in his garage 30 years ago, looks like it was just done recently. Very low option car, 383 with pistol grip 4 speed, air grabber hood, go-wing, am radio and stripe package. That's all.

Might have posted this one before 72 Charger SE, original 318 car buckets and console plus rallye dash.

Didn't have a chance to talk to the owner, but very nice shape.

This just oozes cool! Has a late model Chrysler 300 dash, console and seats, and I'm pretty sure there's a G3 hemi under there too.

Seriously badass 69 Camaro running a procharged LS, very well detailed.
Most of the other cars I have seen before and posted pics.

My brother's most recent purchase, a 1978 Trans Am Y82 Bandit Special Edition, 400, 4 speed, t-tops, WS6 suspension package. It's a one owner car, completely original, never restored with 40k miles. He wouldn't tell me what he paid for it, but it is one of less than 500 built.
