I don't do suet, but my feeder slams shut from the weight of the squirrel. They give up after a while. We did something fun once and made a path to the feeder for the squirrel to try. It was aluminum cans threaded through the middle with rope so they would rotate. About 10 feet long. It was hilarious to watch. The squirrel did eventually make it.Hi guys.
Well, 13 years ago I retired after working 46 years. I finally had enough.
I miss some of the guys of course some not.
I drove by there yesterday and thought NOPE, I could never go back.
Before the winter hit we put up the bird feeders and a suet feeder on a Shepherd hook.
Then we started seeing this dam squirrel hanging off the feeder or the suet holder.
We never knew how he got up there because I had greased the pole.
Today we found out how he did it.
The shepherd is about 4.5 feet away from a Japanses Maple tree.
The little bastard climbed up the tree and shimmied along two branches joined together for strength and when he got to the top he leapt onto the hook.
We haven't been putting feed in the one and now the suet is connected to a different feeder he can't reach. They sure are smart!!!
Anyway, the house is now back to normal with all the decorations down and put away.
Have a good one guys
. Sea World San Diego, we were eating lunch at a picnic table, Sea Gull swoops down grabs her french fries and hauls *** for the bay
. Local county park picnicking, tree squirrel sneaks up on us as we sat on a blanket eating, grabs half of her sandwich and up the nearby tree it went
. It went halfway out a branch and sat there and ate it with all of us watching
