I had an issue many years, ago. That was before Rick. I haven't had any need to buy from them since. Rick seems to be what Laysons needed. From what I have read, I would give them another chance, if I need something they have.

I had problems way back in 08 when he was having inventory issues. Since @Rick Layson has been working there things have been great. I only buy at shows and from ebay via PayPal, that way I can get my money back if there is a problem, but so far there has not been.

I will say the rear chrome revel below the rear window is starting to pepper, it's only 8 years old, disappointed at that.
