What year did they change from the left handed lugs to the right handed lugs? I was thinking late 60's. Thanks Mike

I think it was 1969 or 1970, your car should have all right hand threads.

Thanks I might as well get lug nuts when I order wheels. Am I wrong in presuming the 5X4" pattern has a 7/16th lug? Sorry about all the questions but I'm trying to do the wheel ordering from work. Thanks Mike

Yup 7/16. I swapped the lefty threaded studs on Nikkis 72 scamp for right hand ones NAPA part number 641-3148 7/16-20

70 barracuda has left and right lugs...
71 dart has only right lugs...

Yep. 72 was the last year. My 72 originally had LH threads on the left. My 73 is all RH thread lug nuts.

My original '69 340 Swinger had rights and lefts. The Goodyear tire dealer found out the hard way when he had to replace a bunch of lugs and nuts. He was lucky he didn't break the Cragars!. That was back in '71.

Thats why I change them out asap. The last thing I want is some kid at the tire place busting off my lugnuts. But on the other hand, what if my lugnuts spin off on the freeway?!?!?!
