Me too. Some companies can make most of the seat upholstery but the embossed vinyl like the door panels and some seat details can't be duplicated except by Legendary.I bought new set of door panels from Legendary around 2 years back. They are really nice and identical to originals. I ordered directly from them and they came in the estimated time too.

100% in agreement with j_anderson and Oldmanmopar. I think they get away with it pretty much because they're the only game in town. The door panels were a pita. buyer is made to pick out the cutouts for the clips and the perforations on the cutouts were terrible. unacceptable at the pricepoint. They do include a "special tool" though... it's a 3" finishing nail with a bend in it and the point ground to a flat pointed edge.
I contacted them and they're going to have a sale in conjunction with Chrysler at Carslile in early july, same % off as their memorial day and spring carlisle salesThanks guys. I've used a lot of their stuff over the years and lucky I've never had a problem except I wasn't impressed with their last carpet that I used.
The covers that I want are 84 days out so I wanted to get them ordered. I'll see if they have a sale this weekend or maybe for the 4th. I'll also see what Dante can do.
I used some poly filler over top the old seat foam to help the covers be filled out. The only wrinkles I have are around the seat medallions which I attribute to how Legendary doesn't sew the list wire pockets to the cover on the medallion panel. I had to glue the pocket down and then hand stitch it to get it to hold somewhat similar to how the factory did it.

I get mine from a buddy who works at my old upholstery job. Here’s a link to a product similar to what I used. You glue it down with spray adhesive then trim itNice! What's the name of this product? Poly filler isn't giving me anything close when I search on google.

Lots on Amazon if you punch in DACRON.
Myself and @dadsbee were having a discussion about PG Classic vs Legendary HERE , hes quite happy with his PG panels at a substantially reduced price, and the pics that he posted showed the embossing on his door panels and looks really good.Me too. That's ridiculous. All the more reason to support your local upholstery shop.I had a bad experience with them too. Ron accused me of cutting the seat covers apart and attempting to re-sew them. 1st of all, why would a person buy fully sewn covers just to cut them apart and restitch them? I bought from them because I don't have the skill or machinery to sew. Finally got my covers repaired after sending them back and forth 2 more times. They covered the shipping on the first trip back but ghosted me when I asked them to cover the 2nd trip back. It's just crazy to me how they treat their customers. I need to say, I ordered a bench seat interior and it came sewn without issue. Also a non-deluxe door panel set which also was perfect. These buckets were a nightmare though.

Agree 100%.That's ridiculous. All the more reason to support your local upholstery shop.
I had my white door panels diamond pleated in black almost 50 years ago. I regret it now which is why I'm going back to all factory white.I was at a show about 10 years ago and I saw a duster that had diamond plete interior and I really didn't care for that but I looked at the door panels and the door panels look almost Factory but they were covered in leather as well as dashpad...pebble grain
more than one local upholstery shop has said to go to legendary to me for the covers, they'll rebuild the seat and install them, partly because I only want the front seat, and one of the vinyls is no longer available (the shallow elk light blue metallic), but reproduced in special runs by legendary. 76 Dart/Dartsprt/ Scamp/Duster Split Bench Srm Lt Blue/ Blue - Legendary Auto InteriorsThat's ridiculous. Then that wouldn't be what I'd call an upholstery shop.more than one local upholstery shop has said to go to legendary to me for the covers, they'll rebuild the seat and install them, partly because I only want the front seat, and one of the vinyls is no longer available (the shallow elk light blue metallic), but reproduced in special runs by legendary. 76 Dart/Dartsprt/ Scamp/Duster Split Bench Srm Lt Blue/ Blue - Legendary Auto Interiors
A lot of this has to do with the time it takes to carefully remove covers and cut apart all the stitching just to make patterns for new covers. Legendary has patterns on hand already. My upholstery friend is a Legendry dealer. He says the same thing. The quality of their products and the price you pay, is way cheaper than he can duplicate covers for you. He could do it and they would be over the top nice, but the price would be 2 or 3 times what Legendary charges. He doesn't have all the embossing machines they use to duplicate imprints on seat backs and door panels either. He charges $100+ an hour and the dollars add up quickly. He does high end show cars and has won many top honors. I can't afford him to do my work (from scratch) although he did do my Legendary cover installs.
