After a couple B-body's & E-body's I finally went to an A-body. My first one was a '69 Dart Swinger, /6 car. I pulled the /6 & put a MP 360 shortblock with eddelbrock heads, made it my daily till I sold it for earnest money for our house.

I had a 1971 Plymouth Scamp. My first cool car when I was a teenager.
(Couldn't find the actual pic yet, but it looked just like this one...)

I wish I had a picture of my first one. It was a 62 Valiant, Rose, with a 61 Lancer front end, Light Green. I do have a picture of my girl friends, now wife, first car. 1965 Barracuda.

I never did anything with them, but I got 2 1968 Dodge Darts after high school. No money, no tools, no skills, no place to put them. They just sat at my mechanic's. Sunfire Yellow one was a S6 AC car and the red one used to be green and had a 273. My dad sold them due to my mother having a fit over them.

Didn't know a whole lot about these cars when I owned my 75 Scamp. Bought it in 2010 and sold it in 2013. The kid who bought it parked it behind his dads shop and the last I heard (2 years ago) he hasn't touched it since. May try to buy it back some day.

Found this 72 duster in local craigslist it 318 3 speed floor B5 blue black interior and previous owner forgot e brake on and car rolled over once dent the roof but it doesnt stop me to own B5 A body.

I got my first one in 83 after I totaled my 73 cuda. Here is a pic of it in about 86. Still have it sitting in the garage in exploded view

My first was a 1969 Dart I bought off of an old lady in Inglewood, CA. Saw the ad posted in the Recycler, called her up and went out to see it. Instantly fell in love, offered her $800 and the deal was made. Original slant 6 car. Drove it around the block, motor seized, and that same night the motor and transmission were pulled.

Threw in a 360/727 combo I bought "slightly used" out of a 77 Dodge Van. Added a few bolt ons and a set of 14" Rallyes. Drove it through my early college years and ended up selling it for a ridiculous profit which all went towards tuition money.

Regret it? Yes. But in a way, that car is the reason why I am where I am in life today. If I ever find it, I'll buy it no matter what price, no questions asked.

69 Barracuda Fastback, 318. Picture taken in the high school parking lot circa 1986. I sold the car a year or so later, in Ottawa Ontario. Never saw it again but I always wonder what its fate was......

have had a couple of B's and 1 E...must've been studying...I finally got my 1st A a few weeks ago!!
It's nom 340, it's an H code 3spd car with fender tag and broadcast sheet. Mods include Wilwood discs up front LBP, 8.75 rear 355's, now has a pistol grip 4spd.
