Who is the a..hole that came up with the brilliant idea to put these docks in? Nothing like being kept awake all frigging night by some jack a.. in a hot rod boat with open headers….
A Very Unhappy Arista customer….who happens to live in Ponderosa Acres and did not get any sleep thanks to this frigging dock…
Doug & Ernestina Crann….

Email sent to Avista, our power company who also owns the land down at the lake.....

There was some complete effin asshat out on the water all night last night, in a boat with a rough idling, open headered boat....driving back and forth, pumping the go pedal. And needless to say we have no noise ordinances in Stevens County. Leroy, the neighbor who is directly above the dock/camping area has already had a few folks knocking on his door, asking for fuel to use his phone...no cell service in the area...

^ yep if they're in and out guys flatten their truck tires while they are out on the water , If they are dock and leave guys then start by undoing their lines and pushing their boat out into the middle of the lake , I'm from cottage country Ontario and people learned real quick about respecting the locals in our neck of the woods .

I'm not usually one for messing with other people's property .....How about a non-confrontational man to man chat with the offender/offender's. If that doesn't work then a few calls to the law no matter if there is an noise ordinance or not. Also the e-mail to the property owner like you did is the way to go.

Here, I "fixed" your post.

So far as violations, even if there is no per se noise ordnance, surely there must be some sort of "disturbing the peace" ordinance out there in the "NW" desert?
