Lifted trucks?

I like mine lifted a bit for tire clearance and suspension travel... My Willys was perfect and rode great... the Suburban, I never finished the 4wd and am going to change the front end back to a 2wd and lower it some...

I might, but not much into extreme which messes with the drive line geometry. The 7" frame lift on my 53 is about my limit. I'm 6'2" next to my truck.

Not really into super tall lifted trucks, but functional trucks with real suspensions that can work.

Here's my 89 Sub put 14 Bolt FF and 8 lug fronts/bigger brakes. 6 inch springs all around, locker in back, limited in front riding on 37's. I like the old Suburban pictured, nice!

I mis my 82 ramcharger... I like a 3" lift and 31 10.50 on that... the problems with lifts are the idiots who want a look and disregard the geometry... sure I could have biggest tires and monster lift but they diminish the capabilities "....

My '75 Power Wagon Club Cab. It's still for sale if anyone's interested... $1,495.00. 65koriginal miles on her. It's a 440 / 727 with edelbrock and headers. Runs decent, mostly it justs sits, could use a tune up. :burnout: has rust behind front wheels and floorboards. Located 1 1/2 hours west of Portland.
