Yeah, it is a purpose built wheelstander, like The Hemi Under Glass cars. Bill "Maverick" Golden (RIP) was a member here.

A good friend of Bill Maverick has a Hemi here. I was listening to some back in the day talk my son was having with that person. For how popular he was he was not a wealthy man as would be expected. But he had a heart of gold.

I cant make it out, are there wheelie bars on it??
Maybe not, i thought I saw some sparks coming out on the one Mike posted

Bill had bars on it from time to time, he also had a skid plate attached to the tailgate shoot sparks.

Have been thinking about doing a 318/904 8 3/4 rear wheel drive conversion to this rust free '98 Voyager minivan.

Have all the parts on hand, the 8 3/4 should fit under there nicely. Just need to build a plywood dog house cover for in the back like they do on the boats.

Might as well keep it a "Plymouth" with a nice mopar drive train.

Good Times . . .

Any idea where the Little Red Wagon is
now ?

Hemmings article
""After a 16 year absence the Little Red Wagon wheel stander returns to the track"

Im 64 and phone challenged, would be nice if someone could post the article.
It set the Guiness World Rcoord
for a 4320 foot wheelie

Now that sounds like a fun project. Don't forget to pull the original engine and cut a hole in the dash so you can see the road when you're up in the air!

I have seen Bill run a few times years ago. Awesome!
I remember the year he got married at the Mopar Nats. Must of been 20-25 years back?

Never thought about that, you are way ahead of me.

Thought it would make a nice driver, 20 miles per gallon with the 741 2.94 gears. Non-Computer Car. Fun to pop the rear hatch and side door when taking to shows to show the drive train.

Got some nice aluminum wheels that will bolt right on there. And the guys are working on the "318 Four Barrel" call out emblems for the front fenders.

There are so many of those vans out there just waiting for their potential to be tapped. I always thought they would make a great version of the Volkswagen "flower power" busses. Now you come up with another great idea! I bet you could come up with your own kit to manufacturer and sell to all those other motor heads out there who think out of the box. And that would be a great presentation at the car shows with doors open like that. Go for it!

Nice clean body, so that's a great start. Not fighting rust, go right to fabricating.

I saw The Little Red Wagon in 1968, I was seven at the time. Garlits did have one of the trucks in his museum.
