Columbine H.S.? That place?
I knew I had heard of that town before and had a hunch it was tied to the Erik Harris and Dylan Klebold incident.Yeah. I remember that.
This will be an issue for you then. Colorado is deep deep blue, actually far more liberal than California. If you are south of Littleton, you are probably in aerospace- Ball, Martin Marietta, ULA….. prepare to be hated. Good luck! Thanks again. Any and all input is surely welcomed, this is much bigger a decision than I ever intended to make at this point.
Work would be South of Littleton, so North & east sound good, I don't want to get into hour plus commuting, I did enough of that in Tampa-Clearwater area.
Pretty much the political leanings don't bother me either way, I just don't care for the extreme ends either way. We're all here and need to come up with a way to work **** out & I believe those in charge like to keep everyone's attention on the other "side".

Hey Guy, I never said a single thing about Littleton being any kind of place. Just asked if it was the town Columbine H.S. was in because it's the only time I've ever heard of it. Just trying to jog my memory is why I asked. Calm down. That was 22 years ago. There has been a lot of school shootings since then. Columbine doesn't define Littleton at all.
No joke we were in Kerrville, Texas last summer visiting my mom and a thunderstorm rolled through at dusk. It was friggin amazing, like I remembered in Philippines except this was right over us. Those were usually over the bay or a few miles away. Anyway were all watching in awe of the lightning dancing through the clouds and the thunder and then the winds came and mom hustled us inside. I trucked the kids to the back enclosed porch overlooking the golf course and the winds really started howling, trees were cracking and sheets of rain were whipping across the fairways and I was yelling "This is AWESOME!!!!" My mom was scared for good reason. a twister touched down 2 miles down the river from us and tore up an outbuilding. I love me some crazy weather as long as it doesn't hurt anything. CA is boring. When the tornado sirens go off instead of heading to the basement we go outside and look for funnel clouds.
Now Salida. This is the place to live. 5 mountain ranges merging in one spot. We are in the banana belt and we get very mild winters in comparison to the surrounding mountains that are literally a few miles in any direction. When your ready let me know and I'll build you a vacation home up here on the side of a mountain!

Meh Look who's being sensitive I meant no malice.
That’s comedy right there. You being sensitive and “sticking up for a town” from a guy that merely asked about the history of said town while telling the guy with the history question that he’s the one being sensitive.
