I cant seem to find a "Rim Blow" steering wheel in the Year One catalog. As far as a mounting collar, is that it in the photo? The wheel was held in place with three bolts and I didn't even have to use a steering wheel puller that I brought along, the wheel just came right off. I believe there was a tan horn button mounted just to the left and below the steering column.

The steering wheel adaptor is still on the column. It's what the wheel bolted to. You'll need your steering wheel puller for it along with some long bolts or threaded stock and nuts (which is what I use). The contact strip is probably bad....that's why they had the aftermarket horn button mounted on the dash.

You won't find a Rim Blow wheel in the Year One catalog because I don't believe they are repopping them. If you'd like to talk to a very knowledgeable guy about having that wheel refurbished, try Mark Tarkington. He is out of Texas and does a nice job of redoing them and knows a lot about them. He also does some A body stuff like the trunk lift for early A's and stuff. Nice guy!!! Yea, you need the coffee can shaped adapter that is still on the column, and you need a wheel puller to get it off. Good luck with your project, Geof
