Pretty cool Mike! I remember in Chicago we had the 17 year invasion. The trees were covered in those things.
 
Cicada! Did you know those things live in the ground for many years, then they emerge, then they make that loud noise and mate all day long, then after a day or two they die.........

Yes I did and they are way way down in the ground for like 7 years at a time and it can be deafening outside at night hearing them.
