Bill the rockers are supposedly true 1.6 ratio offered by but not produced from clifford there a cast product that I was spectacle about buying but I got a really good deal on both parts
I took some measurements to check the ratio but I can't for the life of me remember how to check the ratio maybe you can share that knowledge with me one more time
Aaron
Well tell us less informed folks !!!I know where they're getting the rockers from. I'll give you a hint. Look at their offset. .....and they ARE offset.
Those are Buick straight eight rockers. RAS does them. They have a left, right and center offset. It appears that they are using only the left and right offset, but it looks like it works well.
Are they different shaft size and they are bushing them !!!Those are Buick straight eight rockers. RAS does them. They have a left, right and center offset. It appears that they are using only the left and right offset, but it looks like it worls well.
Aaron, I sure would love to know what the lift at the valve is and if it corresponds with the 1.6 advertised ratio. Could you measure it for us? That would be valuable information for you as well. Thanks.
Hey,
Off topic.
Fuel log looks a little to close the the headers/manifold.
Aren't you worried about the heated fuel this will make ?
You need to measure on the valve end. That will tell us the story on the rocker ratio. What's the lobe lift on your cam? Multiply your lobe lift times 1.6 and that should be about what you get when you measure lift at the valve. You should be able to simply go straight off the valve spring retainer, but you want to make sure you're as parallel with the valve stem as possible.
Rob here's a link from. Org that is for degreeing a cam shaft at the bottom of the post there's a pic of them checking the lift with the dail indicator on the push rod side

This is the way I was planning on doing it I'm going to grab a different base for my inductor from work tonight and I'll try and get it sorted out
