what heads would be cheap and work well with this motor? i beleive it is a 75 block. anyone in san diego have a set to sell cheap?
thanks jason
I'm working at putting a 96 5.9 magnum into my 71 dart. Its not a big deal but there are a few small things to look out for. Carbed intakes are not hard to find, but, you will need a long snout camshaft or an adapter to run a mechanical fuel pump. Or, run an electric one. You will have to run the LA timing cover to complete this system which means you will have to run an LA accessory system. This is a start.just found a newer 92 318. this is the magnum motor and the guy says it has like 70k. will i need a special intake to fit a carb on this motor? any othr problems i might have putting this in my 74 valiant?
thanks jason

i planned on using my old acc. anyways, but what is the reason that i cant use the magnums? im pulling the a.c. out of my car, so will i need different bracket for a no a.c. setup?
i found a junk yard that will run and test the motor before you buy it. they have many years of motors. im looking at a 360 out of a 90 dodge ram 4x4. this isnt the magum correct? it will fit the older intakes? they do also have a newer durango that i might look at, but i thought the motor might be to new to swap. up to what year motors will swap in? the motor mounts change in what years if at all?
