It's just outside of town with a 3 stall attatched and 1 stall detatched. It has 1 acre of ground set up on top of a hill. Tell me what you think

Click homes for sale and then acreages. It's the second one down.

Wow.... that would easily be a $1.5 million home out here on Long Island in a decent neighborhood. And the really sad part is that Amy & me plan on putting more than that as a down payment on our next house....

Family & Living rooms look small, as does the Kitchen. But boy, I love the garage area.... Go for it Brett!

All that matters IS the garage! I'd buy it just for that
Being born and raised in Northern California, those housing prices just blow me away!!!! Just over 100,000 for a house with that much land! Man you couldn't find a condo out here for double that!
I just bought a house for 450,000 and that didn't get me that much, but I do finally have a 2 car garage so I'm happy :D

Nice looking house Brett. With all the toys you have, you will need all of that garage space. Looks like the housing market is about the same there as it is here.

Fastback340,
If you can figure out a way to move my 2 acres and house down to Long Island, I would split the sale price with you and we would both be Millionaires.

I really had not planned on buying another house right now but this one fit's the bill and just hit the market yesterday. My current house is paid for so I'm not that excited about going in debt again. I am going to look inside friday night. The garage space is the only reason I'm even considering it. Actually my current house has more square footage so that might be a problem. I have a lot of crap. LOL We'll see if the spirit moves me when I look at it. If it does I'll buy it, if not I'll make do with what I have.

Yeah try Northern California. You can't get a shack for less then half a million. I bought a townhouse for 450... That is a sweet house and 4 car garage... Oh my.!

I wish I could find something like that here. There's not too many places here with more than 5000sf of land. In the Diamond Head area there are a few home with lots that size, but none for less than $10mil

Good looking spread Brett!

Will it be on septic or city sewer & water? I suppose the taxes will be lower outside the city as well. With all that garage space, seems like a reasobable buy if everyting else suits you and the family. Happy hunting...

Looks like a nice house, If it has everything that you need/want go for it. If not build one the way you want it. To me it sounds like you need more than a 4 car garage.

I made an offer of 175K. I like the house and location but it is not exactly what I want but would be much better than what I have now as far as space for toys. I would like to build but want to wait a few years. If I get the house fine and if I don't thats OK too. I should know more the 1st of the week.

Boy houses and prices sure have changed since I left centerville.

:D :D

Nice place and with the extra land build a rel nice big playhouse.
