64 Dart mild 10 to 1 408 ,econo W2's 750 Demon ,wimp edelbrock hyd performer rpm cam,MSD ignition ,4.10 gears ,adapted PG 3000 stall ,stock springs and shocks ,8.5 slicks.Best so far of 11.71 at 112.8 in the 1/4 and 7.39 at 93 in the 1/8 with a 1.63 60'.I launch on the ft brake at about 2500 and shift at a measily 5800.I have gutted lots of weight off the car ,but it was running low 11.90's with stock bench seat interior ,heater ,etc.My car has 11.50's or better in it easy with more cam.You shouldnt have any trouble getting 11's with a mild small block. Its all in the combo ,motor ,trans ,gears ,and suspension .The Chevy guys hate my gutts at the Nostalgia drag events ,lol .Man i love racing Mopars..

11's are very very easy in a big block abody in my opinion...dont even need to do much....grab a 440, single plane intake, 750 carb or bigger (750 at min), decent sized headers, cam with over 500 lift, decent gear (4.10 min) and tires and you are good to go..the stock suspension will work fine imo, but you can stick a snubber or SS springs on there or just reclamp the front segments...lots of cheap options

hi, 3350# all steel duster, 340, l.c. motor with 1.88 & 1.60 valves, no porting stock cast intake & T.Q. carb, slicks, gears,calverts, 11.40-11.50, @ 115-116.

Well, I took the plunge and bought a turn-key car. 70/74 Dart, 440,727,8 3/4. Lots of good parts, 3.91 with a spool, holley blue pump, new tires, fenderwells. Car is a little ratty, needs some wiring cleanup, but with the line-loc, it does some fun burnouts. Can't wait for spring!
