i collect albatrosses, free of charge
How about a 1974 MG B GT? My dad took it apart about 20 years ago. Stripped it to bare metal did the little bit of body work and primed it. The drive train is good, but sat for years. Have 99% of the car. We rode in it when we were kids in the 90’s….

I'm into it for $ 5,500 2020 money lol. Was honestly not looking to selling but too many cars and too old to keep.

This puppy is a driver but wants a V8. I personally can't do it to a true survivor original truck as minor surface rust on a Bakersfield truck is sacrosanct lol.

good day fellow sickos!

i woke up today and found myself projectless and against my better judgement figured why not subject myself to another round of "oh gawd, why am i doing this again?!??"

so here i am, seeking your leftovers, neglected projects, that thing that's taking up space in your life and in your head. please, allow me to unburden you.

i'm pretty open to just about anything that's rust free. got a project that's stalled? great. something missing a motor and trans? awesome. took it all apart and just don't wanna put it back together? my man, just what the doctor ordered!

the biggest thing i care about is tags/title. if the paperwork is lost or fucky, i'm not interested.

ideally something within about 500mi of SoCal, but i'll roadtrip it for something especially tasty.

hit me with what you got!
See what you started ?

It is, but myself and brothers have no interest in fixing it. We have a 67 B, a 64 sprite and a Bug-Eye race car.

How about an 83 RX-7 GLS, but can’t be registered in CA as it was flagged by CARB…. But out of CA is cool…
Now if you were talking about an 84/85 GSL/SE with a 13B... I may have to bite..lol.
Bug eyes are super cool as are all the ones you listed ( Sprite, 67B. ) I have a soft spot for those. Especially a GT6.

I know the motor in the RX is a hot rod built by our friend that was building them for NASA/SCCA in the 2000’s when they still ran a lot. I don’t remember if 12a or 13b is in the car. This one was a test car for racing beat when they were developing parts for them. We have a **** ton of Rotary and car parts from when we raced them 10 plus years ago..

I got a 66 Valiant ragtop. Running a 318 LA with 273 heads dressed as a 273 commando. Just needs some body work. Runs & drives great. Have the makings for a 372 stroker on a 340 block to go with it. If you into it. I’m in FtWorth Texas.

yea rented from a body shop when i started on my own 12 years ago
some engish sport car restorer would bring his cars in for body work
he did all the mechicals ,brakes ect. for someone on the 65 sprite and it had low oil pressure ,so i got it cheap $3500 he said they have soft bearing
he asked twice if i wanted sell it back for same price ....ah no ,i just spent 1k for new seats ......the boy wants to fix it

no thanks, i already have one european car in the garage that i'm in a cycle of active avoidance in regards to working on.

Do you want back in a Barracuda? It needs to be rebuilt, but the good parts are there (except axles and third member). 400 block ready to go stroker, 23-spline A-body four speed with big block bell, A-body 8-3/4 housing. Roll cage is almost done. 15x8 Pete Paulsen circle track wheels. 1.14" torsion bars, 1.25" front sway bar, 3/4" rear bar with custom spring stack. Track day, autocross, or street driver. Clean title. The one caveat, it'll never be a NICE car. $5k. $7k in parts if you parted it...

I have two 1984 Dodge Rampages here that I'd let go cheap. One is a 2.2 and A525 5 speed (Close ratio puts the next gear right in the power band). Runs sorta. Lo comp in #4, sunk valve.
Has 5 lug 100mm on 5" conversion. Minor surface rust, no holes. Daytona "Shelby Pumper" 15 inch wheels. Is rated as a Half Ton and has leaf spring rear so a A body 8.75 will fit with some work.

Other is a dead 2.2 A413 Auto with a Fiberglass Canopy. A bit more surface rust but no holes.

Many extra parts, Ported G head, maybe 3 other heads, a 270 degree 0.499" Delta Cams roller regrind, lots of turbo stuff.....

But a bit farther that a little out of LA. 1250 miles.

If anyone else is interested, PM me. Don't fill up this thread.

Hmmmm, I just bought this 74 Dart Sport (was a 318 now a 360) for my next project. I guess it could be your project if this is along the lines of what you are looking for. A road trip is
good for the soul. Has fender tag and good green MI title. I have more pics as I am about ready to start this build.

very cool car and if it were closer i'd mos def be on the contemplation train; it's just a little too far behind enemy lines for me right now.

Love to have it, as I've got a 215 Al Buick & automatic(bad knee) in the corner. Got to finish my 65 Barracuda first, long way to go on it!
