I need a source of supply for a 1968 lower ball joint drum brakes... I found some at auto zone for $72 a piece... looking for anyting cheaper?

I also need tie rod ends as well...?

ok quick question.. this is gonna make me sound dumb but oh well.... how can I tell if I need new ball joints and outter tie rods? I just figured I needed them b/c the rubber boots were torn and I thought I had to replace the entire piece vs just buying the boot...

I found boots for the tire rods and the lower ball joints..

if they have any play you need to replace them but if they are tight just replace the boots and grease them

rockauto has them for 66 a piece...They are MOOG. which are the best...

the energy suspention boots are just generic replacements so the fit is not perfect but I have used them with no problems, have one on my car now

I may have some good used ones for you. I can let you know on Tuesday. How many tie rod boots are ripped?

i got moog ones from amazon that was the cheapest go figure i just put the part number in google and amazon came up and was cheaper than everyone.

i dont remember how much though i just thought it was weird amazon sold them

I have 2 tie rod boots and 1 LBJ boot if interested. I can't "guarantee" they'll fit, but the price is right ;-) PM me if you still need them.

We have the lower ball joints for $50 each! The inner tie rod ends are $22 each and the outers are also $22 each.
