Losing weight

I looked into this at one point a few years ago. At least from my research, there were no bolt-on options available at the time. One option that seems to be feasible is to remove the shock absorber type mounting system and adapt earlier rigid bumper brackets with the matching bumpers. The bumpers from a 70 - 72 Duster would probably work well and even in steel, would probably save a lot of weight. But you'd have to figure out a way to make it look right with the "beak" style front grille on the 74.
